S.Korea parliament re-passes independent council bill

    SEOUL, Dec. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- South Korean National Assembly passed again an independent council bill on Thursday afternoon, opening an independent investigation into corruption allegations against former aides of President Roh Moo-hyun.

    The bill was previously vetoed down by the president.

    According to televised program, the parliament re-voted on the bill and passed it with 209 pros and 54 cons. Enditem
