MADRID, Nov. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- The Spaniards killed in Iraq since the beginning of the war last March rose to 10 with the killing of seven members of intelligence services Saturday in an ambush near Baghdad.
The seven members of the National Intelligence Center (CNI) of Spain died when their two vehicles were attacked near the locality of Suwayrah, 30 kilometers south of Baghdad, when they were returning to the place.
Last August, Navy Captain Manuel Martin-Oar died as a consequence of a car-bomb attack that destroyed the United Nations office building in Baghdad on Aug. 19.
Jose Bernal, 30, information attache of the Spanish Embassy at the Iraqi capital, was shot dead on Oct. 9, by a group of unknown individuals at the entrance of his house in Baghdad.
Sapper Coprs Sargeant Luis Puga died on Oct. 26 due to an accidental fire from one of his fellow soldiers. Enditem
