Maternal insticts: Colin Farrell was reportedly smitten by the tender loving care Angelina Jolie showered on her adopted son, Maddox.

The couple, who are co-stars in the new movie Alexander, are said to have been dating for weeks in secret.

    But they outed themselves last Saturday night, when they were seen dancing in London's Cafe Royal nightclub, before dashing off to her suite at Dorchester Hotel, says IMDb.com

    A source is quoted as saying: 'The chemistry between them was amazing. They've never been so open in public before.

    'Up until now Angelina and Colin have gone to great pains to avoid being pictured together.'

    Friends of Farrell, 27, say he fell for Jolie, 28, on the Morocco set of Alexander - and used his legendary charms to win her heart.

    Speaking at the premiere of his movie Intermission in London on Sunday night, he kept mum about his romance with Jolie.

    But he revealed that her parenting skills with her adopted Cambodian son Maddox were an inspiration to him.

    The actor, who has a two-month-old son, James, with his ex-girlfriend, model Kim Bordenave, said: 'Angelina's been giving me tips on being a good parent.

    'I love watching her with Maddox. She's gorgeous.'

    The actress has been single since splitting from ex-husband, actor Billy Bob Thornton, last year.

    She revealed recently, however, that she had ended a period of self-enforced chastity with a secret suitor.  (Straits Times)
