Georgian opposition leader says compromise talks possible

    TBILISI, Nov. 23 (Xinhuanet) -- Georgian opposition leader Nino Burdzhanadze on Sunday again called for a new parliamentary election in the country, adding that compromise talks with the government led by President Eduard Shevardnadze to solve the ongoing political crisis were possible.

    "We are continuing our protest actions, we do not intend to step back. Of course we are ready for a reasonable compromise and for talks," she told local television. Enditem
