DHAKA, Nov. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- A mob set fire to several tin-roof shops in a village market Wednesday, killing at least 11 people, in Chittagong district, about 215 kilometers southeast of here.

    The victims were trapped inside the gutted shops during the pre-dawn attack, the police was quoted as saying.

    About 30 men were involved in the attack, but the motive of theattack was not immediately known, the police added. Enditem
