GUIYANG, Nov. 19 (Xinhuanet) -- A man who allegedly
killed and dismembered his male lover was sentenced Monday to death with a
two-year reprieve, plus a compensation of 21,600 yuan (2,600 US dollars) to the
victim's family.
The man, whose surname was only disclosed as Hu, killed his lover, a man with the surname of Lei, after Lei
sexually assaulted Hu, according to the Intermediate People's Court of Guiyang,
capital of Guizhou Province.
On Feb. 10, Lei came to Hu's house and forced the
latter to have sex with him. Hu, in anger, slaughtered Lei and dismembered him.
Afterwards, he scattered the victim's remains.
The decision to give Hu a reprieve on his death
sentence was made in consideration of the fact that Lei sexually assaulted Hu
first, according to the court. Enditem |
