GAZA, Nov. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- A Palestinian suicide bomber on Monday blew himself up near an Israeli army check point in the outskirts of the village of Azoon, east of Qalqulya in the northern West Bank, Israel radio reported.

    According to the radio, Israeli soldiers suspected the Palestinian young man and shouted at him to stop. But he began to run away and blew himself up before the Israeli soldiers approached .

    No injuries were reported except the Palestinian suicide bomber who was killed, the radio said, adding that Israeli security intelligence sources thought the Palestinian was on his way to carry out a suicide bombing attack.

    Qalqulya, on the border between Israel and the West Bank, is notfar from Israeli cities, the radio reported.

    Palestinian sources said the Palestinian bomber has been recognized as Subieh Abu So'aud from the village of Azoon near Qalqulya, but it was not known to which group he belongs. Enditem
