Abdullah takes oath as Malaysia's fifth PM

  KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Abdullah Ahamd Badawi, formerDeputy Prime Minister, Friday took oath at the State Palace here, becoming Malaysia's fifth Prime Minister.

  Abdullah, 64, replaced outgoing Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamadwho steps down on the same day.
