10 dead, 20 wounded in South Korean bus crash

  SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- A bus carrying 37 passengers Tuesday plummeted into a stream in Bonghwa county in South Korea, some 200 kilometers southeast to Seoul, leaving about 10 people dead and 20 others injured, police said.

  The bus fell about 20 meters into a stream in front of Mount Cheongnyang in Bonghwa County, North Gyeongsang Province, at around 3:45 p.m. (0945 GMT), the South Korean Yonhap News Agency quoted the police as reporting.

  The victims were members of a mountaineering club in Daegu city. Enditem
