BEIJING, Oct. 16 (Xinhuanet) -- Shenzhou-5, China's first manned spacecraft,
entered the country's territorial air space Thursday morning, according to a
monitor station at Hotan in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest
China.
On a large screen in the Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center, the
curve indicating real-time movement of the spaceship showed the spacecraft was
flying over China's territory.
The re-entry capsule of Shenzhou-5 is expected to land somewhere in the
Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region soon. Enditem |
