China's national flag in outer space

ĦĦĦĦBEIJING, Oct. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- A five-star national flag of China's was displayed in outer space by Lt. Col. Yang Liwei who was orbiting the Earth piloting Shenzhen-5, China's first manned spaceship.

ĦĦĦĦThe astronaut also showed a United Nations flag to highlight China's persistent stand for peaceful exploration and exploitation of space, according to sources with the Beijing Aerospace Command and Control Center. Enditem
