Chinese astronaut takes rest in outer space

  BEIJING, Oct. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- At around 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, Yang Liwei took his first rest in outer space, while the spacecraft was orbiting its second circle around the Earth.

  The image signal, sent from the Shenzhou-5 spacecraft, shows that Yang was lying on his back in the re-entry module of the Shenzhou-5 spacecraft, with calm expression and even breath. His resting time will last three hours.

  Before that, Yang enjoyed the traditional Chinese food, such asdiced chicken meat as well as rice cooked with nuts, dates and other delicacies.

  And he will have another three-hour-long rest when the spaceship orbits its ninth and tenth circles around the Earth. Enditem
