¡¡¡¡UNITED NATIONS, Oct. 13 (Xinhuanet) -- The United States formally introduced Monday new amendments to its draft resolution on Iraq,requesting the Iraqi Governing Council to provide by Dec. 15 atimetable for the drafting of a new constitution and the holding of elections.

¡¡¡¡The new draft, obtained by Xinhua, invites the US-installed governing council to present to the Security Council, "no later than Dec. 15," a timetable and a program for the constitutional and electoral process. Enditem
