¡¡¡¡TOKYO, Sept. 27 (Xinhuanet) -- An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit Japan's northern prefecture of Hokkaido Saturdayat around 5:06 p.m. (0806 GMT), said the NHK television.

¡¡¡¡The NHK said there was no immediate report of casualty.

¡¡¡¡A series of powerful earthquakes jolted the area Friday, with the biggest measuring 8.0 on the Richter scale. More than 400 people were injured and two were missing.
