Urgent: Bush asks for UN help to rebuild Iraq

¡¡¡¡UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 23 (Xinhuanet) -- US President George W. Bush on Tuesday urged world leaders attending the United Nations General Assembly to provide help in rebuilding the war-torn Iraq.

¡¡¡¡"Now the nation of Iraq needs and deserves our aid -- and all nations of good will should step forward and provide that support," Bush said in his first speech at the UN after the US launched war on Iraq in March without UN backing. Enditem
