An intelligent robot known as QRIO, a latest product boasted by the Sony Company of Japan, is displayed on the 2003 Asian International Information and Telecommunications Technology Exposition in Shanghai Sept. 18. This robot, equipped with especially-devised sensor and video camera, is not only capable of walking on various surfaces and getting a three-dimensional view of the environment, but also able to record and analyze the features of human faces and voices, as well as synthesize music and songs.
