SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- Two South Korean Air Force fighter jets went
missing in bad weather Friday in southern part of the country, according to the
Air Force.
The F-5E fighters were on a routine patrol mission when they disappeared
from the radar screen at about 2:00 p.m. (0500 GMT), Yonhap News Agency quoted
Air Force sources as saying.
There was a high possibility that the planes crashed in poor visibility
into two high mountains in the area -- Jiri and Deokyu, some 250 kilometers south
of Seoul in North Jeolla Province.
The Air Force dispatched helicopters to search for the missing fighters,
reported Yonhap. Enditem
