SINGAPORE, Sept. 11 (Xinhuanet) -- The 27-year-old Singaporean researcher, who
has probably contracted SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), is doing well
and has no fever, a government release said here on Thursday.
His family members are well, and so are all his direct contacts who are on
Home Quarantine Orders, said the press release published by the Ministry of
Health (MOH) to update on the new probable SARS case.
So far, no additional quarantine orders have been issued, said the MOH
release.
The ministry also reiterated that there is no cause
for alarm as the case is single and isolated and of low public health risk,
which is echoed by the World Health Organization (WHO), saying that Singapore is
still a safe destination for travelers. Enditem
