Israeli PM leaves for home, cutting short visit to India

  NEW DELHI, Sept. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon left here for home Wednesday night, cutting short his visit to India following the twin bombings in Israel, which left 15 dead.

  He was seen off at the airport by Minister of State for Human Resources Development Vallabbhai Kathiria and other senior Indian officials.

  Sharon is the first Israeli Premier to visit India since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992. Enditem
