MACAO, July 31 (Xinhuanet) -- Two teams of dragon dance players led by New Zealand-born bungy jumping master AJ Hackett staged the world's first dragon dance walk on the 233-meter-high Macao Tower on Thursday.

　　The exhilarating show was performed along the outer rim measured only 1.4 meters wide outside the Observation Lounge of the tower in China's Macao Special Administrative Region.

　　Hackett, an adept adventurer, led one of the local dragon danceteams with a "dragon pearl" in hands, and the other team was headed by a Macao-born bungy lover. The 20-member teams circled the tower three times while playing the two hand-crafted dragons.

　　The Macao Tower with the maximum height of 338 meters is the 10th tallest freestanding tower in the world. AJ Hackett has helped organize a series of adventurous activities on the tower including outer tower climbing since last summer.

　　Hackett executed the world's very first bungy jump in New Zealand in 1986, after having invented a manufacturing process fora natural latex elastic bungy cord, which is now used all over the world to bounce and dangle headfirst jumpers.

　　For the dragon dance walk on the Macao Tower, Hackett designed an overhead rail system with materials and facilities imported from France. All of the adventure participants wore harness and safety belt that is linked with the overhead rail. Enditem
