Sao Tome govt. toppled in coup

  LUANDA, July 16 (Xinhuanet) -- The government of Sao Tome and Principe was overthrown in a military coup early Wednesday, Portuguese news agency Lusa reported. Lusa said Prime Minister Maria das Neves and the minister of defense were detained in the coup.
