July 4 (Xinhuanet)--South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun says he looks forward to his forthcoming visit with the new central Chinese leadership, and hopes the two countries will carry out comprehensive cooperation in economic and other fields.

Roh Moo-hyun told China's leading newspaper, the Peoples' Daily, that China is South Korea's largest investment market, and he believes it has huge potential.

He says although some people are worried that South Korea has diverted too many assets to China, his government will not intervene.

Roh Moo-hyun adds that China's rapid development also provides opportunities for South Korea.

The South Korean president begins his visit to China next Monday. (CRIENGLISH.com)
