¡¡¡¡KABUL, June 21 (Xinhuanet) -- Afghan President Hamid Karzai will make a special address at the opening of the World Economic Forum special session on global Reconciliation being held in Jordan, the Foreign Ministry here said on Saturday.

¡¡¡¡Karzai left here earlier in the day for Amman, capital of Jordan, the ministry said in a press release.

¡¡¡¡During his two-day stay in Amman, the Afghan leader is also expected to hold bilateral talks with Jordanian King Adbullah II and other dignitaries on the sidelines of the Forum, it added.

¡¡¡¡UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, US Secretary of State Colin Powell and many leaders from the world's leading companies are among the 1,200 guests invited for the three-day gathering, officials said.

¡¡¡¡Karzai just came back home on Thursday from a two-day state visit to Iran, where he signed agreements with leaders of Iran, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan on separate projects to build transit road links between these neighbors crossing Afghanistan. Enditem
