¡¡¡¡BEIJING, June 19 (Xinhuanet) -- Typhoon Soudelor, the sixth this year, is developing into an extratropical cyclone as it enters the Sea of Japan Thursday afternoon, according to the latest forecast from the Central Meteorological Station.

¡¡¡¡By 8 a.m. Thursday, the eye of Soudelor was located at 32.5 degrees north latitude and 128.3 degrees east longitude off the western coast of Japan's main southernmost island of Kyushu, with hurricanes near its center. It is expected to move in a northeasterly direction at about 60 kilometers per hour and cross the strait separating Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK) before entering the Sea of Japan.

¡¡¡¡Soudelor is predicted to generate moderate to strong gale-forcewinds, which will affect large areas of the East China Sea and Yellow Sea. Enditem
