ĦĦĦĦGAZA, May 18 (Xinhuanet) -- Palestinian National Authority (PNA)
Information Minister Nabil Amr on Sunday denounced the suicide bombings that hit
Jerusalem early Sunday, killing seven Israelis and injuring 26 others.
ĦĦĦĦAmr said the PNA strongly denounces these blasts and is taking serious
measures to avert such attacks and create a right atmosphere to resume peace
talks with Israel.
ĦĦĦĦA first bomber blew himself up on a bus in annexed east Jerusalem in the
early hours of Sunday, killing seven other people, and a second bomber only
killed himself in a premature explosion which took place nearby almost
simultaneously.
ĦĦĦĦTwo Jewish settlers were killed by another suicide bomber Saturday night in
the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and two Palestinian militants infiltrated
another settlement in the northern West Bank overnight, wounding two residents
before being shot down.
ĦĦĦĦAmr reiterated the PNA's commitment to the immediate implementation of the
roadmap which was mapped out by the Mideast Quartet Committee grouping the
United Nations, the United States, the European Union and Russia.
