¡¡¡¡SINGAPORE, April 4 (Xinhuanet) -- The anti-submarine patrol vesselRSS Courageous of Singapore has been found responsible for collision with the Netherlands-registered container vessel ANL Indonesia in the eastern Singapore Strait three months ago.

¡¡¡¡In the incident at night on January 3, RSS Courageous sustainedsevere damage and sank after its section sheared off, incurring four deaths and injuring eight others, while ANL Indonesia sustained superficial damage to its bow area with none of its 23 crew injured.

¡¡¡¡In a press briefing Friday, Director for Maritime and Port Authority(MPA) of Singapore Lee Seng Kong said that the collision was caused by errors of judgment and wrongful application of the collision regulations on the part of RSS Courageous.

¡¡¡¡Singapore Defence Minister Tony Tan told reporters on Friday that his ministry agreed with the MPA's finding that the incident was the result of an error of judgment.

¡¡¡¡Lee and Tony Tan refrained from saying what to do next.
