¡¡¡¡ABIDJAN, Feb. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- The United Nations non-essential staff members
in Cote d'Ivoire have started to leave the world's top cocoa grower as the
situation there has become troublesome after a five-month civil war, an informed
source said Thursday.
¡¡¡¡According to a decision made by the UN in New York, Cote d'Ivoire has
already been rated as a phase-4 risk country on the UN's five-phase risk scale.
¡¡¡¡Under the decision, which took effect on Wednesday, the UN's dozens of
non-essential staff in the west African country should leave as soon as
possible.
¡¡¡¡The phase-5 on the UN risk scale, the source said,
