¡¡  TEHRAN, Dec. 2 (Xinhuanet) -- An Iranian Foreign Ministry official on Monday dismissed as "pure imagination" alleged Iran-US coordination on the Iraq crisis.

¡¡¡¡The unidentified source rejected any exchange of information between Tehran and Washington on Iraq's chemical and nuclear programs, as well as its weapons delivery network.

¡¡¡¡The official said Iran's foreign policy is based on abiding by all international laws and UN Security Council resolutions.

¡¡¡¡Iran's policy on Iraq is "transparent" and Iran respects the territorial integrity of Iraq and the right of self-determination of the Iraqi people, the official said.

¡¡¡¡A Western media report said Sunday Iran and the United States were privately coordinating ahead of an attack on Iraq.

¡¡¡¡The report said the two countries were in contacts on rules regarding the use of Iranian air space and the role of the Iran-based Iraqi Shiite opposition. Enditem
