¡¡¡¡BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhuanet) -- China will join with international community to push for a fair and rational resolution of the Israel-Palestinian issue, said an official of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) here Friday.

¡¡¡¡Wang Yunze, CPAFFC vice-president, told a reception marking theDay of Solidarity with the Palestinian People that the worsening two-year conflict had caused tremendous civilian casualties and property damage, and the peace process had been seriously blocked.

¡¡¡¡In 1977, the United Nations set November 29 as the Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

¡¡¡¡The Chinese people were gravely concerned about the situation between Israel and Palestine and expressed their earnest sympathy with the Palestinian people, Wang said.

¡¡¡¡Palestinian ambassador to China, Abdul Rahim, expressed his appreciation and respect to the Chinese people for their support for the Palestinian people. Enditem
