¡¡¡¡BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- China holds that the Iraq issue should be settled within the framework of the United Nations, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Kong Quan said in Beijing on Thursday at a regular press conference.

¡¡¡¡In response to questions concerning Iraq, Kong reiterated the Chinese government's stance on Iraq, saying China firmly advocated a peaceful settlement of the Iraq issue through political and diplomatic means and within the framework of the United Nations.
