¡¡¡¡BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- China's special envoy on the Middle East issue, Ambassador Wang Shijie, is due to visit the Middle East early next month, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao told a regular press conference in Beijing on Thursday.

¡¡¡¡In order to ease the present tension in the region and push forthe Palestine-Israel conflict to be resolved at an earlier date, China will strive to increase engagement and contacts with all relevant parties in the Middle East, Liu said.
