ĦĦĦĦBEIJING, Oct. 15 (Xinhuanet) -- The September added value of China's national industrial output
reached 282.5 billion yuan (34.16 billion US dollars), a 13.8 percent year-on-year
growth, according to a report released by the National Bureau
of Statistics (NBS) on Tuesday.
ĦĦĦĦThe growth was 1.1 percentage points higher than that in August,the NBS
said.
ĦĦĦĦThe total added value for Chinese industrial production for the first nine
months of this year was 2,248.7 billion yuan, with a 12.2 percent year-on-year
growth.
ĦĦĦĦThe soaring output of electronics, telecommunications
equipmentand automobiles drove China's industrial production in September up
36.7 percent, 4.9 more percent than that of the previous month.
ĦĦĦĦStatistics show the production of mobile computers, mobile phones and video
recorders in September increased by over 40 percent. Color televisions increased
30.4 percent.
ĦĦĦĦThe production of cars reached 325,000 in September, up 35.1 percent
compared with September last year, with sedan and truck numbers rising by 48.3
percent and 34.9 percent.
ĦĦĦĦThe total sales/output ratio of industrial products for the first nine
months of this year reached 98.59 percent, up 0.31 percent year-on-year.
ĦĦĦĦIndustrial exports increased rapidly in September, reaching 182.3 billion
yuan, up 13.2 percent year-on-year.
ĦĦĦĦThe added value of heavy and light industrial production reached 173
billion and 109.5 billion yuan last month respectively,up 14.3 and 13.2 percent
compared with the corresponding period last year.
ĦĦĦĦState-owned industrial production in September reached 147.1 billion yuan,
up 2.8 percent from the previous month. The added value of the stock companies
