¡¡¡¡BEIJING, Oct. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- China condemns a deadly attack against civilians during a large-scale Israeli military incursion in the southern Gaza town of Khan Yunis on Monday, Chinese ForeignMinistry Spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said here Tuesday.

¡¡¡¡The spokeswoman was refering to the Israeli military attack on a refugee camp, in which Israeli troops fired a missile into a crowd of civilians and killed at least 10 people.

¡¡¡¡"Such actions completely go against the peace efforts of the international community and all other sides concerned," said Zhang.

¡¡¡¡The Chinese side urges Israel to carry out the resolutions passed by the Security Council of the United Nations and halt all military operations in the Palestinian-controlled area immediately,Zhang said. Enditem
