Myanmar reshuffles cabinet

””””YANGON, Sept. 14 (Xinhuanet) -- The ruling Myanmar State Peace and Development Council (SPDC) Friday made a reshuffle of its cabinet, appointing one new minister and removing two, according to official newspaper The New Light of Myanmar Saturday.

””””In the declarations of the SPDC signed by its First Secretary Lieutenant-General Khin Nyunt, the SPDC has appointed Deputy Minister of Commerce Brigadier-General Kyaw Hsan as Minister of Information, while Minister of Hotels and Tourism Major-General Saw Lwin and Minister to the Prime Minister's Office Major-GeneralTin Ngwe have been removed from their posts.

””””Minister of Communications, Posts and Telegraphs Brigadier-General Thein Zaw was assigned concurrently as Minister of Hotels and Tourism.

””””Minister of Information Major-General Kyi Aung was reassigned as minister of culture, a post which was assigned concurrently by the SPDC to Minister of Labor U Tin Win last November.
