¡¡¡¡The Australian embassy in East Timor's capital of Dili was closed since Tuesday and would remain so in the next few days because of "unconfirmed, generic threats."

¡¡¡¡The report cited a foreign affairs ministry spokeswoman as saying that Australian diplomatic missions in Singapore, Cambodia and Saudi Arabia were operating on a restricted basis and higher security had been imposed on all posts throughout South-East Asia.The tighter measures for Australia's embassy in Jakarta came as Britain closed its premises in response to "a general terrorist threat against diplomatic missions in Jakarta."
