””””HANOI, Aug. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- Socio-economic issues and the state budget will be high on the agenda of the next Vietnam's National Assembly (NA) session in November, according to a report of Vietnam News on Friday.

””””The NA's Standing Committee will prepare a legislation program for the NA's five-year term. It will study and approve ordinances on industrial mobilization and legal system, and make recommendations on some draft legislation to be submitted to the NA for final approval, it said.

””””The ordinance on industrial mobilization is aimed at improving the state management, raising the sense of responsibility among ordinary people for industrial mobilization and securing supply ofmilitary appliances.

””””The committee's other tasks include implementing the supervisory programs of the NA, monitoring the resolutions of people's complaints and petitions, and organizing the 23rd GeneralAssembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Organization (AIPO) in Hanoi next September.

””””The AIPO General Assembly is seen as an important chance for the country to raise its profile in the international community. In particular, it will offer Vietnamese NA Chairman Nguyen Van An,who is the current AIPO chairman, the opportunity to boost multi-faceted cooperation within the region, and execute pledges outlined in the Hanoi Action Plan and Hanoi Declaration in July 2001.
