principles of a new statute on appointing officials.

moral integrity to serve as a Party or administrative official.

regulations of statute in order to build soundofficial selection and appointment
systems at all levels, Hu said.
””””He noted that the statute will help further the reform of the country's
personnel system and create a favorable environment for talented officials.
””””Wei Jianxing, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the
CPC Central Committee, was present at the meeting which was presided over by
Zeng Qinghong, an alternate member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central
Committee and head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee.
