RIO DE JANEIRO, July 4 (Xinhuanet) -- Brazilian striker Ronaldo Thursday
disregarded Italian press versions of his leaving Inter Milan, and demanded
respect from journalists and said he didn't look forward to leaving his present
soccer club.
"Again, they try to upset me and create lies about me," protested the
Korea-Japan 2002 top scorer through his Web-site.
In the last weeks, the Italian press issued conjectures in the sense the Brazilian
star was ready to abandon Inter as soon as the World Cup ended,
something that now seems almost impossible, mostly after the northern Italian
club set a price of 100 million dollars on Ronaldo's transfer.
Ronaldo said now he only wanted to take a rest with his family "far from
individuals who don't even deserve professional respect".Enditem
