BEIJING, June 18 (Xinhuanet) -- China's Foreign Ministry spokesman
Liu Jianchao has reiterated China's position on the Taiwan issue,
saying China opposes any official exchanges between Taiwan and the
United States and the implementation of the Taiwan Relations Act.
   Liu said here Tuesday the United States should abide by the
principle of "one-China" and the three Sino-US joint communiques
when handling the Taiwan issue.  Enditem
