SHIZUOKA, Japan, June 14 (Xinhuanet) -- Belgium players proved that their critics are badly wrong, said Belgium coach Robert Waseige after his team advanced to the second round of World Cup with a thrilling 3-2 win over Russia on Friday.

　　"I am very happy that our players perform so well and they deserve the win. They prove the critics back in Belgium that this is not a team you can throw away," he said.

　　"We have many criticism back home, but now we proved that they are wrong, " he said.

　　"It is a pride and honor to face Brazil in World Cup, and you should do really good in face of a great team as Brazil," he said.

　　"Maybe we could beat Brazil -- you can never deny dreams," he added.
