Vietnam Hopes to Strengthen Education Cooperation With China

””””HANOI, May 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Vietnam hopes to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges with China in the educational field, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Cong Tan.

””””Tan made the remarks here on Monday when meeting with visiting Chinese education delegation led by Zhang Tianbao, representative of the Chinese education minister.

””””He appreciated the great assistance China granted to Vietnam's education over a long period of time and the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in recent years, including that in the field of education.

””””The deputy prime minister urged strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the education departments of the two countries,thus further promoting the development of Vietnamese education cause.

””””During the meeting, Zhang Tianbao told his host that the social systems and national conditions of the two countries are similar, and the development and reform of the two countries in the field of education are faced with the same problems. He believed that the exchanges and cooperation between the two sides will benefit the development of the education cause of both countries.
