MEXICO CITY, May 16 (Xinhuanet) -- Police arrested 10 Mexican Real Madrid supporters for using a city landmark to celebrate the club's Champions' League victory.

¡¡¡¡The 10 Mexicans, with ages ranging from 17 up to 27, were arrested late Wednesday splashing around in the Fuente de las Cibeles, a replica of a fountain found in the Spanish capital.

¡¡¡¡"They were found swimming in the fountain, saying they were celebrating the Real Madrid club's victory," a police statement said. The Real fans were turned over to a local judge who was expected to hand down fines.

¡¡¡¡Real Madrid won their ninth European Champions League title by beating Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 in the final in Glasgow, England on Wednesday. Enditem
