BANGKOK, May 9
(Xinhuanet) -- An explosion occurred Thursday evening in Tachilk, a town of
Myanmar opposite Chiang Rai's Mai Sai district, 700 kilometers north of
Bangkok, killing one and injuring more than 10 persons.
Police Col. Wichai Rupelek was quoted as saying that the cause of the blast
was not known and no one had claimed responsibility for the
attack. He said he had seen clearly from the Thai side that the

Hotel. A witness who came from the Tachilk said that one person
was killed and several persons were injured.
