CHENGDU, April 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Qin Yuqin was elected chairperson
of the 8th Sichuan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's
Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Saturday at the 3rd
plenary meeting of its Fifth Session.
   Feng Chongtai and Xiao Guang were elected vice chairmen.
