¡¡¡¡BEIJING, March 29 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said Friday that China puts high value on the positive results achieved at the just-concluded Arab League Summit.

¡¡¡¡She said that China is pleased to see that the summit has achieved positive results in advancing the Middle East peace process and promoting the unity of Arab nations.

¡¡¡¡The summit adopted the Arabic Peace Initiative based on the Middle East peace proposal put forward by Saudi Arabia, and duringthe summit there were signs of improvement in Iraq-Kuwait relations, Zhang said.

¡¡¡¡The meeting demonstrated the willingness and resolve of Arab countries to achieve regional peace, she noted.

¡¡¡¡The Chinese government values all the positive results and goodsigns, and will as always support all efforts for promoting peace and stability in the Middle East, Zhang said. Enditem
