KABUL, March 11
(Xinhuanet) -- Leader of the Afghan interim administration Hamid Karzai left
here for Russia Monday afternoon for a two-day visit.
Karzai, who was seen off at the airport by cabinet ministers and senior
officials, is being flown to Russia by a Russian airplane.
The Afghan leader is expected to discuss with Russian leaders such issues as
security situation in Afghanistan, Afghanistan's reconstruction and foreign
aid. From Moscow, Karzai will travel to Germany for a visit of
two or three days, Abdul Samda Mrowat, press officer of the Foreign
