HONG KONG, Oct. 21 (Xinhuanet) -- A prize presentation would be held later
this week to recognize the hard work and achievements by the Hong Kong athletes
at the recent Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, HK Sports Development Board
(HKSDB) said on Monday.
Hong Kong's sportsmen and sportswomen won 2.775 million Hong Kong dollars
following their achievement of four gold, six silver and eleven bronze medals
against top athletes from all over the region at the Busan Asian Games.
Presented by the HKSDB, the Athlete Incentive Awards Scheme hasbeen set up
to recognize achievements of HK's athletes at major games.
Officiating guests at the presentation will be John Hung, chairman of the
HKSDB, with Dr. Patrick Ho, Secretary for Home Affairs, and Timothy Fok,
President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China.
